Rainbow Terrapin Network: Trainings and Webinars

The Rainbow Terrapin Network is a campus-wide network of staff, faculty, and students on UMD's campus committed to campus inclusion for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer folks and beyond. In past years, this has taken the form of in-person trainings in which participants learn the fundamentals of LGBTQ+ concepts and work collectively to think about how our campus might be more equitable and inclusive. Much of the content covered in these trainings is included in our Spring 2017 webinar series.

For the 2017-2018 academic year, RTN will shift to a new workshop style format to make these trainings more accessible for people to attend. These workshops will align with our #TransTerps campaign  and have a more dedicated focus on equity and inclusion with regard to trans communities. See below for more information!
