Campus Climate Study

The University of Maryland’s 2018 Comprehensive Campus Climate Study for Diversity and Inclusion is now available. For more information, please visit diversity.umd.edu. You will find links to the Preliminary Climate Report, Final Climate Report, Frequently Asked Questions, and other relevant documents. Also, you will find a link to an interactive report designed by the Office of Institutional Research, Planning and Assessment (IRPA) where users can view the study’s results based on the respondents’ reported affiliation with the University – student, faculty, or staff – as well as their disability status, gender identity, political orientation, race/ethnicity, religious/spiritual identity, and sexual orientation.

We encourage all to take time and seek to understand what respondents shared about their experiences. Engage with others to examine what more can be done to build a more welcoming and inclusive campus where all members feel a sense of belonging and pride.
